IPO Forecast
Planned in 2022, shelved, and not revived. After the $5B Series E, Zepz weighed a New York listing at up to about $6B, bypassing London (PYMNTS citing Bloomberg, 02/2022). The plan stalled within months: in February 2022 CEO Breon Corcoran announced job cuts and a pay freeze, and in July Bloomberg reported the IPO on hold over delays in verifying customer accounts and senior-management churn, including the CFO's and CTO's exits in December 2021 (Finextra, 14/07/2022; PYMNTS, 13/07/2022). Zepz called the report "speculative and factually inaccurate", said it had never set an IPO timeline, and announced a shift to cutting costs and becoming independent of outside funding. No new filing, bank mandate or timeline has been reported since, and the company is now led by an interim CEO.
