LSEG data compiled on May 4 showed a possible 12 foreign companies in Hong Kong’s 2026 IPO pipeline, including US blockchain infrastructure firm Blockdaemon.
Blockdaemon Inc. may pursue an initial public offering in 2026, its founder Konstantin Richter said in 09/2024. “Let’s see how 2025 holds up and then I think 2026 would be a year where we might want to pursue something like that,” Richter said in an interview. “That would be a good time-frame. The company would be eight, nine years old, by then.” At the moment, Hong Kong is preferable to the US for a listing as the crypto regulatory environment in the latter “is just really bad,” he said.
