In a Tech.eu interview just before Slush (Dec 1, 2025), Oberhauser was explicit about wanting to go public eventually and where: he said "I definitely want a European listing," ideally in Germany, but with no immediate plans.
n8n is still n8n GmbH — and a GmbH cannot list on a stock exchange. An IPO would first require conversion to an AG (Aktiengesellschaft). That conversion would be visible in the Handelsregister, so the absence of any AG filing is a concrete signal that no IPO mechanics are underway. It's also the cleanest forward indicator to watch: GmbH → AG conversion is the first observable step
