Plata appointed Marcos Kantt in 04/2026, who is closer to a capital-markets institutionalizer, rather than an operational fintech CFO. That "institutionalization" background is the standard pre-IPO CFO archetype — such person is hired to build audit-grade reporting, capitalization discipline and an equity story, not to run day-to-day treasury.
According to Oleg Tinkov's interviews, Plata is targeting $10B IPO in 2027-2028.
