As of 08/2026, Lambda has not formally announced a firm IPO date, but reporting consistently points to a public listing as the company's near-term goal. Back in August 2025, sources indicated Lambda was finalizing a crossover round ahead of an IPO, and by September 2025 the company had reportedly hired Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan and Citi to prepare for a listing as early as H1 2026. That target subsequently slipped: in January 2026, The Information reported Lambda was aiming for an H2 2026 IPO and raising ~$350 million in pre-IPO convertible notes led by Mubadala Capital. Most recently, on August 24, 2026, Bloomberg reported that Lambda is in talks to raise up to $3 billion at a valuation of $12 billion or more in a round that could set up an IPO as soon as 2027.
