IPO plans

eToro has completed its IPO and is now a publicly traded company.

In 05/2025 EToro priced its IPO at $52 a share, above its target range of $46 to $50, offering 11.92 million shares. The stock is expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol "ETOR" on 14/05/2025.

Etoro raised nearly $310 million, selling nearly 6 million shares in a deal that values the business at about $4.2 billion. Another almost 6 million shares are being sold by existing investors.

In early 05/2025 eToro announced that it had begun the roadshow for its initial public offering (IPO) on the Nasdaq, aiming for a valuation of up to $5 billion and planning to raise $620 million. The offering will include 10 million Class A common shares, half being offered by eToro and half by an unnamed stockholder. The shares are being offered at a price of $46 to $50 each, according to SEC.

In 04/2025, EToro decided to freeze its planned IPO.

First announcements (2020)

In 12/2020 the company was planning to go public through an IPO or SPAC merger valued at $5B by the 1Q2021.

Announcement and SPAC Merger Plan (2021)

In 03/2021, eToro announced plans to go public through a merger with a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), FinTech Acquisition Corp. V. The deal was valued at approximately $10.4B and was expected to close later that year. This would have listed eToro on the Nasdaq. eToro also planned a PIPE deal. For more details you can refer to SEC filings: Amendment to registration statement, a confidential draft submission to the SEC.

Cancellation of SPAC Merger (2023)

Despite the initial announcement and plans, the SPAC merger was eventually canceled in 2023. Market conditions and other factors led to the dissolution of the deal. According to Calcalist, the merger was called off in part because of “regulatory changes in regard to SPACs and companies involved in cryptocurrencies, which accounted for a large portion of eToro’s growth over recent years.”

New York listing (2024)

As of 07/2024, eToro considers New York for IPO. Chief executive says firm also looking at London listing, but adds US could connect it to more potential investors.

Assia said he was “exploring the right timing” for eToro’s stock market debut and was expecting an increased valuation relative to the $3.5B from its last funding round. He added that eToro was unsure whether to follow rivals by allowing its customers to invest directly in its IPO.

In 12/2024 eToro hired investment bank Goldman Sachs. Sources inform "Globes" that the company is aiming at a valuation of $5B.

Confidential filings to the SEC (2025)

EToro submitted confidential filings to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for an initial public offering (IPO) in hopes of valuing eToro at $5 billion.

eToro Group Ltd (“eToro”) announced that it has publicly filed a registration statement on Form F-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) relating to the proposed initial public offering of its Class A common shares. eToro applied to list its Class A common shares on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker symbol “ETOR.”
